After seven years in the Army, Kyle Sisco came to Georgia Military College’s Columbus Campus not entirely sure what he wanted to do. He did know that he wanted to transfer to a 4 year school, and that a degree from GMC would allow him to do just that. Kyle says that GMC’s small classes and accessibility to its professors are part of what he likes best about the college. Also, he finds that classes are offered at a variety of times, which makes education convenient for anybody. This allows Kyle to not only spend time with his son, but also lets him stay involved on campus as a biology tutor and a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, where he was recently honored as an All-Georgia Academic Team honoree. Kyle will be attending Georgia Institute of Technology the summer of 2010, where he will be majoring in biology in hopes of becoming a biology teacher. |
