Directions to Madison Campus

Mission

GMC-Madison is an extension of the main campus in Milledgeville offering students from Morgan, Putnam, Greene, Jasper, Oconee, Newton, and Walton counties the opportunity to attend college, complete their Core Curriculum, and earn the 2-year Associate degree in their own community.  Students are supported by the Admissions, Financial Aid, Business, Registrar, and Academic Support Service offices in Milledgeville but take classes in Madison. 

GMC-Madison offers courses in the afternoon, evening, and on weekends, catering to students who want to attend college while working.   The student body at GMC-Madison includes recent high school graduates, those who have been out of school for a few years, and some students who have been in the workforce for a long period. 

Madison offers the complete core curriculum and coursework leading to Associate degrees and specializes in helping students transfer to 4 year Institutions.

Our Campus is open Monday-Thursday,  12 noon - 10 pm! 

 We offer personalized on-site academic advising and individual assistance in degree/career planning, the admission and transfer processes, and in applying for financial aid. 

Classes are small (from 5 – 15 students) to provide a comfortable learning environment, offer individual attention, greater teacher – student interaction, and maximize the students' opportunities for success.   Developmental/ remedial coursework is available to help students set goals, brush up on academic skills and study habits, and prepare for further study.  Computer labs are open for student use and free tutoring is also available.
